In 12 different studies conducted, the statistics depicted that students gain approximately 30% of their college education in the classroom.  The remaining 70% is learned in out-of-classroom experiences

 

Student Senate

The Student Senate is the official representation and voice for the student body.  Elections for student senate are held once each semester.

Programming Board

The Programming Board is part of the Student Life Program. The mission is to provide activities for the student body at LSC.

In addition to coordinating activities the Programming Board also funds events that are implemented by the campus student organizations.

Want to start a new club/organization at LSC

All new clubs/organizations must complete and submit a petition to the Student Life Center.

Forms are available in the Student Life Center.

Requirements:

Six active members

Faculty or staff advisor

Written bylaws

All requests for starting a new organization will be reviewed by the Student Senate for recommendation to the College President for approval.
