The Student Senate is the voice of the student body and is the communications bridge between students and administration. Senators participate in monthly shared governance meetings with the President of LSC and the Executive Council. Senators sit on all campus committees such as Finance, Facilities/Safety, and even search committees which are designed to hire new faculty and staff. With students involved in the decision making process on campus, the views of students is always heard. Here at LSC, the student body is fortunate to have an Administration that is very student orientated, always open to student’s opinions and will work side by side with students in planning the future of the campus.
